Default how much do you sleep at night

Since we were talking about being awake in another thread, this begs the question how much do our members actually sleep each night?

Myself, I only sleep about 4 hours a night. if i try and sleep for longer stretches, i will wake up after 3 or 4 hours, and never get back to sleep. there are reasons for this, which i won't go into in this post, but suffice to say my military career has "shaped" my dreams, and not in a good way.

At night, I don't sleep.

But, when I do sleep, I like to get around four but have been known to sleep up to eight.

I need sleep but have always struggled with the actual doing part. I get over tired, and exhausted, think I'll sleep forever and then three hours later my eyes pop open. Try and go to back to bed and sleep till work. I need 6-8 but probably get 4-6. Been trying melatonin lately and it helps a little.

Typically 6-8 hours.

Usually go to sleep around 5/5:30 am and wake up at around noon... sometimes until 12:30 or 1 pm.

My hours fluctuate pretty wildly. Lately, because of finals and papers, I've been getting to bed really late (or early), like around 5 or 6am and getting up around 2. Today, though, I've just been completely exhausted. Fell asleep last night around 5:30am, woke up around noon but fell back asleep after a little while until about 5:30pm. Was up for a few hours, then fell back asleep from about 10:00pm to 12:30am. Still tired as hell. Could probably fall asleep right now but I have two papers due by noon.

I typically get 7-9 hours. Anything less than 7 and I'm pretty much a zombie.
