At least the Big 12 didn't get rewarded for making sure the referees knew that Oklahoma was to win its final game to give them two BCS slots. Karma.
I watched the OU/TCU game and saw no ref bias.

The Oklahoma press, and even Stoops, cited how, "we haven't gotten the close calls all year, but we got 'em all today." Hmmm. Surprise. It is well-documented, so watch the film. At least Stoops didn't deny it. We all know the financial benefit to the Big 12 had Oklahoma received a BCS Bowl bid, and to think that the officials weren't on board with this thinking is naive. There were 3-4 blatant calls/non-calls which had serious influence on the proceedings. There is nothing "non-classy" about pointing this out.

There is no need to document them all at this late date, and it is no big deal. But the one thing about that game which really sticks in our craw was pointed out by Gary Patterson the next week. An Oklahoma offensive tackle tosses Maponga to the ground, then pins him and throw two solid right hand punches to the side of his helmet, while Maponga is on the ground. No expulsion???? Ooooh, it was "an accident". He "didn't mean any harm."
Then the Big 12 glosses it over in review afterwards, refusing to suspend this bum for any games next year. Had the players been in reverse position, Maponga would be on 4 game suspension now. How would the OU offensive line protection have been without this guy in the lineup? Just sayin'...........
Bad calls are one thing. Overlooking this type of trash is quite another.
