There's a good diversity of music listening here, but what are some of your favorite albums released in 2012?

I was gonna wait a little while before bumping my old and not used topic, but this works better. Thanks for starting the topic.
Anyways, my top 10 (It was a fucking amazing year for music, for me); 1. ![]() "Shape Shifter" - Santana 2. ![]() "A Blueprint for Writhing" - One Less Reason 3. ![]() "Six String Soldiers" - Frank Hannon 4. ![]() "Now Here This" - John McLaughlin 5. ![]() "The Fire Plays" - Ari Hest 6. ![]() "Driving Towards the Daylight" - Joe Bonamassa 7. ![]() "Helen Burns" - Flea 8. ![]() "All I Was" - Tremonti Project 9. ![]() "Horizons EP" - Tetrafusion 10. ![]() "Afterglow" - Black Country Communion Honorable Mentions; A. ![]() "From the Vanishing Point" - Red Wanting Blue (Officially came out Jan 2012, I preordered and got it Dec 2011, so I consider it a 2011 album. Technically it'd probably be somewhere around #10-6, but I feel weird listing it in 2012. )B. ![]() "Between Nothingness and Eternity Bonus Disc" - Mahavishnu Orchestra (Came out in April. Its a live recording. But, the concert it was recorded at happened in '73, so like FTVP, I feel a little weird listing it as a 2012 album. Especially because part of the concert was already released in 1973 and this is just a "Bonus disc." )

I'm lucky if I buy an album a year.
The last one I bought was the newest No Doubt album. Unfortunately, I really only listen to music in the car and even then I have my The Omega Man OST playing. Ron Grainer is the best.

I don't remember listening to any music besides Away from the World by DMB, Coexist by The xx and The Carpenter by The Avett Brothers. The Carpenter was probably my favorite. Also enjoyed The Projectionist by Peter Anthony Red (Tonedeff), but that was more of an EP.

The only album I gave a full listen to this year that I currently remember was Good Morning to the Night, and I thought that was awesome.
