In my opinion, Week 17 is the hardest to make picks because:

1. You don't know who is going to rest starters for the playoffs.

2. You don't know which of the playoff-eliminated teams still have enough pride to put up a good fight.

3. Some coaches know they will be fired after today's game and therefore may not come up with good game plans.

4. In head-to-head division rivalries, NO ONE really knows what to expect--especially if the game is important, i.e. Dallas vs. Washington.

5. Lots of players are really banged up this time of year and are just ready to pack up and go home. How can you predict what's going to happen in that scenario?
