2013 Boston Celtics discussion thread

Wasn't a thread, now there is.

The Celtics NEED to stop feeding Pierce the ball when he's got someone draped over him and the game's on the line. Pierce's ball-handling skills in traffic have been deteriorating, and his isolation game is worsening. It seems like he's constantly fumbling the ball, losing it or tripping up. He's lost more than a step the past few years. His explosiveness is nowhere near what it was and his coordination is poorer.

Oh, and if he doesn't find his shot soon, it could be too late.

Yeah Pierce's play at the end was brutal. The Knicks didn't play a great game tonight but were lucky to get away with the victory. I'm worried about Shump's jump shot because it's been awful since he came back. Stat is looking pretty good though

Since this is a Celtics thread though(

), of course Rondo decided to once again show in a big game. Apparently Celtics are now 15-2 in games he has gotten a triple double and I'm pretty sure more than half of them have been prime time.

Now is the worst time to create a Celtics thread...

I can't even watch this team right now. I think a shakeup is necessary.

All I ask is Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger and Paul Pierce remain untouchable.

Tough to trade contracts like Green's and Terry's though. Possibly even Bass'.

What do you guys think of the possibility of bringing back Delonte West? He's always been most stable in Boston and he's familiar with the system. Plus, he's another ball-handler to help fill in for Rondo.
