With Rondo out, I have this funny feeling that it is white flag time.

So, without further ado, here is a rumor I heard last week...

Pau to Boston, Pierce to Memphis, Gay to Lakers.

Hate Pau through and through, always have, always will.

I don't care if the white flag is raised, but that's not even raising it. It's a cop-out.

I know the Gay Memphis deal has already been completed, but I just saw this post and it still made me cringe (the Pau part). "Ew, gawd" is my only thought. I'm with you guys on that. I still remember his little faux-mean streak from the 2010 [you-know-what] and how the media gave him a pat on the back for "sticking it to KG".

Never have been a fan of his finesse play at all.

Only what, now? A 2-game winning streak? Hope it continues, regardless. I'm a homer and I hate the idea of Pierce being anywhere else, naturally of course. Six consecutive wins against the Magic (If I correctly recall). Chalk it up to 7, please.

There's an old blog out there by a hateful old bitch that simply entitled the said blog "Fire Danny Ainge". She cowgirl-style rides every Boston sports team except the Celtics, who she always wishes losses on, due to her deep-rooted disdain for Mr. Ainge. These days she usually just bitches over Josh Beckett, Kevin Youkilis (sp?) and Tim Wakefield, but the blog name just had me thinking what I thought when I read "Danny Ainge is open and listing, but wants Pierce to retire a Celtic"... Ah, alright. Probably just PR/media drivel anyway, but still.

Believe it or not, I like the Rondo-less Celtics more.

Anyone catch the final 2 1/2 minutes of the Magic game last night? Fab Melo looked like as raw as a live cow stuck between two patties. Nowhere near ready. MAYBE 1 1/2 years, probably 2.
