Former member of the LAPD and murderer of three Los Angeles cops Christopher Dorner is at large. Dorner wrote this dark and disturbing manifesto before hunting and killing those who he feels disrespected him. Believe it or not, the story of cold-blooded killer Christopher Dorner has a football connection. His manifesto mentions old football injuries and their possible effect on his twisted mind. He also seems to be the only person who still believes in Tim Tebow.

It’s an inconvenient truth when you realize the ramblings of a murderer have some very valid points, especially on LAPD corruption/racial atrocities, gun control, Westboro Baptist Church and Dave Brubeck.





Here’s what Dorner had to say about Tim Tebow. Unfortunately for #15 no NFL GMs share Dorner’s view:

Tebow, I really wanted to see you take charge of an offense again and the game. You are not a good QB by todays standards, but you are a great football player who knows how to lead a team and WIN. You will be “Tebowing” when you reach your next team. I have faith in you. Get out of that circus they call the Jets and away from the reality TV star, Rex Ryan, and Mark Rapist Sanchez.

Well, he’s right about the New York Jets being a reality tv frathouse; with Ryan the house social chair. But Ben Roethlisberger has the rapist reputation (charges were never prosecuted) not Sanchez. He’s the butt fumble guy. With all this talk lately of CTE and concussions, and just how many brain bruises one can receive playing football, the following excerpt is not to be ignored. We’ve seen players like former Bears safety Dave Duerson and Patriots linebacker Junior Seau suffer extreme brain damage, and later commit suicide. The cop killer Christopher Dorner turned his aggression outward instead.

Since 6/26/08 when I was relieved of duty and 1/2/09 when I was terminated I have been afflicted with severe depression. I’ve had two CT scans during my lifetime that are in my medical record at Kaiser Permanente. Both are from concussions resulting from playing football. The first one was in high school, 10/96. The second was in college and occurred in 10/99. Both were conducted at Kaiser Permanente hospitals in LA/Orange county. These two CT scans should give a good baseline for my brain activity before severe depression began in late 2008.

I know this is posted here through a bot, and you probably won't see this response. I just might visit the site it originally appeared on and post my thoughts.

EDIT: That's exactly what I did.

First of all, do some fact checking before you write anything about this "suspected" killer. One cop was killed, and the daughter and fiance of a former LAPD police captain was also shot dead.

For being a "A Fulbright scholar, published author and MBA, Banks has appeared on live radio all over the world; he’s also a member of the Football Writers Association of America, U.S. Basketball Writers Association, and Society of Professional Journalists." You didn't do enough research on this opinion and find it funny that you call him out on his inaccuracy.

Second, I've read his "manifesto" twice, completely through and find his writing to be far, far short of "rambling". It's thought out, fairly easy to read albeit a bit long, and has some grammar errors...but far from "rambling". Hell, his writing is far better than many in your field of "journalism", and even though I have yet to read much of your work...I will do what you should have done, and research your work thoroughly before I make a judgement on it. However, based on this one piece, I can sort of see where my research is going to take me.

I don't condone what Dorner has done, if in fact he has done what he will never be charged for, because he will be shot on sight. Murder is murder, and it's wrong, but I think that you should have put as much research into this piece as your credentials claim the type of writer you are.

2. I read all of his manifesto too. It covers 11,000 words and covers dozens of topics. How is this not rambling when he spends a lot of time jumping around from point to point? If he stuck to his thesis, his main objective in writing this- how the LAPD is corrupt and wrongfully punished him than I would be less hesitant to call it rambling.

And basic journalism, oh I’m sorry “journalism” as you call it, requires saying what you need to say in as few words as possible. If I were his editor, I could make this piece much more concise and crisp. He does make a lot of valid points, but they get lost in the sea of hatespeech and vitriol

Really? Hostile? Overly critical? I think you're overreacting.

At least you changed part of your story to the proper facts. It would seem that my first impressions about you were correct. To think that I was going to thank you for admitting your error.

As you posted on twitter, you have my email, and could have very easily denied posting the comment and spoken to me directly.

You are right that he may never stand trial for his crimes and get a true legal judgment, but that’s because he may pull the trigger himself. His manifesto reads like a suicide note, and he claims like he’s willing to die.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson has a plea to Christopher Dorner: “Please stop.”
Jackson has joined other public figures in calling on the accused cop killer to end his rampage of revenge against the Los Angeles Police Department that fired him. Jackson even offered to take in Dorner himself to ensure a safe surrender, CBS Los Angeles noted.

“Absolutely,” Jackson said. “I’ll do whatever I can do.”

Jackson’s message to Dorner to “please stop” came through a public statement made on Tuesday, but has gained more media attention as the manhunt for the accused cop killer intensified throughout the week.
Jackson said:

“Apparently you have been wounded by your past experiences of what you have stated in losing your job. I understand your feelings of being hurt.”

“I’m making a plea to you to stop spreading the pain, the hurt and the fear. Please stop (sic) don’t take anymore (sic) lives.”

Dorner is wanted for killing an Irvine couple on February 3 and shooting two Riverside police officers on Thursday, killing one. Before going on the alleged killing spree, Dorner posted a 27-page manifesto to Facebook outlining his reasons and promising to harm as many officers as possible.

Dorner believes he was unfairly fired after reporting one of his fellow officers who kicked a schizophrenic person.

Jackson’s plea to Dorner to “please stop” is partly a way to help save the man’s life, the reverend said.

Nothing is going to be able to save this guy's life. The cops are shooting anything that moves. They shot up a neighborhood last night because they mistook a 71 year old hispanic woman and her 47 y.o. daughter delivering newspapers in a blue Toyota, when they were looking for a 270 dark skinned man in a grey Nissan.

Now, the feds are involved setting up checkpoints and roadblocks. So much money being spent and civilians are mostly in danger from the police this time. You never see this kind of action when regular people are killed.

I absolutely don't side with the killer, but I can't side with the mentality of the police on this one. I'm mad that it even got as far as it did.
