Carp is awesome, the Red Sox are lucky to be getting him for nothing, I could name at least 3 players I would have preferred the Ms dump over Carp(Justin Smoak, Justin Smoak, and Justin Smoak)

Carp walks twice as much as Pena, and he didn't do well last year because he was suffering from injuries for more than half of it. And if nothing else, he beats the crap out of Lyle Overbay
