Giants could be without Ahmad Bradshaw, Domenik Hixon
08:41 AM ET 11.24 | The New York Giants have received some good news, because the Green Bay Packers will reportedly be without star linebacker Clay Matthews on Sunday. However, they have their own injuries to deal with this week, with the major one being the apparent high-ankle sprain to wide receiver Domenik Hixon. The 28-year-old Akron has been injured since Week 10 and is likely out with a Grade 2 high ankle sprain, because he hasn't even practiced off the bye. The fact that the Giants have ruled out Hixon comes as no surprise, and they will once again be rolling with rookie Rueben Randle as the No. 3 wideout. In nine games this season, Hixon has caught 26 passes for 380 yards as a solid deep threat for the Giants. Star running back Ahmad Bradshaw was limited in today's practice and is officially listed on the injury report as probable with a neck injury. The Giants gave him some rest during the last two practices, but Bradshaw will see his carries getting cut into further by Andre Brown and even rookie David Wilson. The Giants seem ready to finally give the explosive back some more carries going forward, and it looks like he will have a chance to shine against the Packers.
