08:08 AM ET 12.20 | Was Deron Williams sending a message earlier this week when he mentioned Jerry Sloan's offense in Utah was a better fit for him than Avery Johnson's? There are those who believe that Williams knew exactly what he was doing when he spoke of how he yearns for the Utah offense -- for the pick-and-roll freedom under Sloan, whose early retirement, you may recall, was prompted by a disagreement with Williams. Now, Williams was laying the foundation for change again. ... With the belief in the organization that the Nets have enough talent to be a top team in the East -- straight from the top, straight from Mikhail Prokhorov -- it's easy to see that this will land at Avery Johnson's feet if it doesn't get fixed.

wow Deron exerting his will on the franchise...

in this case though, might help a lot to get rid of Avery - dude is another one trick pony coach who can't make adjustments to save his life. still can't believe his mavericks with the #1 seed got whupped by the Don Nelson coached warriors - Avery couldn't figure out what to do and they got taken down hard. i don't think the Nets will go anywhere with him at the helm.

the nets definitely need a change, they vanish in the 3rd quarter of games way to often.
