Man, I hope Gronk doesn't turn out to be injury prone. That would just ruin what surely would be a HOF career.

I don't think he will. His two injuries haven't been those that suggest being prone. The arm break was a freak thing and his high ankle sprain was just the result of Bernard Pollard being a dirty little dink.

Gronkowski's bone break in a new spot

07:49 AM ET 01.16 | The Patriots' Super Bowl quest will have to roll on without tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski refractured his ulna in a different place than he initially injured it Nov. 18 blocking on an extra-point attempt against the Colts. The new break is higher, closer to the elbow, than the original fracture, according to a team source. The same source added that the new break occurred just above the plate surgically inserted to fix the first fracture. The bone above the plate is potentially more vulnerable for breaking. On Monday, Gronkowski again underwent surgery to repair his arm. All expectations are that the tight end will fully recover in the offseason and return for training camp.
