Draft stock rising for Irish seniors
08:00 AM ET 12.17 | Not only has Notre Dame football been very good to its fans this season, but also its players. [Life] might even get a little sweeter for Notre Dame safety Zeke Motta after Jan. 7 -- at least financially. Motta is one of four Notre Dame seniors who started the year with an NFL Draft scouting grade of "priority undrafted free agent" and now could go as high as the middle rounds, according to draft analyst Scott Wright of draftcountdown.com. "Motta had such a good year and really helped himself a lot," Wright said of the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Miami native. ... The other three Irish seniors trending into at least rounds 5-7 are defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, center Braxston Cave and running back Theo Riddick.
