Oh, you don't have to convince me of that. I'm an Arsenal fan...

Haven't posted an updated Hex in a while. Here we are a little over half way through:

Code:
Team Pld	W	D	L	GF	GA	GD	Pts
United States 5	3	1	1	6	3	+3	10
Costa Rica 5	2	2	1	5	3	+2	8
Mexico 6	1	5	0	3	2	+1	8
Honduras 5	2	1	2	6	6	0	7
Panama 5	1	3	1	5	5	0	6
Jamaica 6	0	2	4	2	8	−6	2
World Cup 2014 Auto-bid
World Cup 2014 Playoff vs New Zealand

It's worth noting that the US has only played 2 home matches thus far, while Mexico has three draws at Azteca. For the unfamiliar, Estadio Azteca is a gigantic stadium in Mexico City that is generally considered to be one of the more hostile environments for opposing teams. They usually do not drop points there and the fact that they've already played 3 of their 5 home games and only have 3 points to show for it has the country pretty on-edge.

I'm really hoping I can snag tickets to the US vs Mexico match at Crew Stadium. Last time they were gone pretty quickly.

That would be awesome. I'm jealous that you have that chance!

I'm going to be watching that particular game on a movie screen in high definition. Kinda excited.

Thanks to a Jozy Altidore goal, the US defeated Honduras 1-0. the US now has 13 pts in their group, and have a 5 point lead on Costa Rica and Mexico.
