Question Should Indiana have remained No. 1?

Quote:
Somewhat surprisingly, Indiana has retained the top spot in the AP's men's college basketball rankings. The Hoosiers fell to the Illini in a stunning 74-72 defeat last week, the fifth consecutive week in which a top-ranked team had been upset, but that wasn't quite enough for a team like Duke or Miami to take over. Duke's squeaker of a victory over unranked Boston College may have prevented them from moving up, but they'll have plenty of opportunities to overtake Indiana in the weeks leading up to the NCAA tournament.

I'm a MIGHTY Bucky & MIGHTY Heels fan, but I'll be objective and restrain my hatred for all other Big 10 & ACC teams ...

I THINK 8 of the previous week's Top 10 teams lost last week, so I wouldn't argue against that, by default Indiana should have retained the No 1 ranking. Duke is No 1 in the USA Today Coaches poll, but I wouldn't argue against that either. Frankly I think Miami is the best team, but they don't have as many wins as Indy & Duke cuz they haven't played as many games.

This ranking stuff is just a exercise in debate anyway as The Big Dance will thankfully decide the true No.1
