Miles Austin: I wasn’t prepared for the start of last season

The last sentence in the full article says it all...

"The return of offseason programs should mean a lot less unprepared players when training camp rolls around this year."

But who wants to place odds that Austin still misses a few games this season due to injury? I bet he plays no more than 4 of the first 8 games.

other about the season. was the wrong thing to do, The players were not going to change anything
by waiting

so instead they needed to be training and preparing and however it ended it ended..but at least
they were productive while waiting

I know it happened and there is no one to blame but them selves for it!!! they knew better than to assume nothing was going to happen..but they just wanted a excuse to not have
to work, the end result was? Austin didn't have the kind of season he was expecting to
have

For me, using the lockout as an excuse for being outta shape is like using the weather as an excuse for losing a game. It's saying my opponent performed well and I didn't cuz it was raining on my side of the field.

An obstacle ceases to be a legit excuse the moment that someone else facing the exact same challenge with the exact same opportunities achieves success.

STFU Miles and get your lazy ass in shape. Add a dollar to your excuses and use the total amount to buy yourself a salad off Mickey D's Dollar Menu.
